Haral Thomas Woodall

WOODALL, Haral Thomas born August 28, 1925 in Port Arthur, TX. to Thomas C. Woodall and Annie Yearby. He graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas, TX. He served in the U. S. Marine Corp. during World War II from 1942-1946. He attended Texas A & M University after high school and later received a Bachelors Degree from Sam Houston University in Criminal Justice. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Dallas Police Department in May 1976, after 27 years of service. He then worked for the Dallas Adult Probation Department for fifteen years. He was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene in Dallas. Haral is survived by his wife, Nell; daughter, Carol Woodall; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy & Lyle Hanks; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Bill & Ellen Denison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 10:00AM Saturday May 21, 2011 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 7979 R. L. Thornton, Dallas, TX.. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6PM " 8PM. Interment will be 10:45AM Monday May 23, 2011 at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Central Church of the Nazarene or the charity of your choice.
