Guy Ernest Crawford Jr. of Forney, TX. born September 27, 1942 and passed away April 15, 2015. April 15, 2015 at 1:34 pm the world lost not just a good guy, but a loving husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Guy Ernest Crawford Jr. was all of the above, but to me he was Dad. He would be there for you in the time of need. He went the extra mile and then some to solve a problem. But most important he was a servant to the love of his life, Stella Louise. Although life had taken its toll on his health the last several years; he would do anything for mom. When I would get a call saying that he had fallen; 90% of the time it was because he was helping mom. We all agree that Heaven is even better today; especially since dad is with tinkering Heaven's gates. Dad fought a good fight and he ran the course, but its time to rest and relax with no more pain and no more suffering. I also liked the way Vince Gill put it. Go rest high on that mountain for you time on Earth is done. I am glad I was there this morning and got to say goodbye and that I love him. I want to say thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. God is good all the time and He got a good guy today. Preceded in death by parents, Guy Ernest Crawford and Ernestine Miller. Survived by wife of 52 years Stella Louise Crawford; children, Guy Allen Crawford, Tina Louise Crawford, Darla Kay Cairnes; grandchildren, Paul Alan Crawford, Dianna Marie Mosley, Faith Nicole Cairnes, Megan Danielle Cairnes; great grandchildren, Cheyenne Smith, Alaina Crawford, Preston Smith; brother, Robert Wayne Crawford. Memorial service will be 3:30PM - Sunday April 19, 2015 at Mustang Creek Community Church, 13851 FM 548, Forney, TX. 75126.
