Glen Edward Arthur

Glen Edward Arthur Jr. passed away in his sleep on Sept 18, 2015. He was born to Mildred Olsen and Glen Edward Arthur at home in Paul, Idaho. He was the born first along with his twin sister Gwen August 24 1930, a younger sister Verdene 10 years later. He is the oldest of what would become a blended family. He lost his mother at the age of 14, soon gained a new mother Erma, brother Gary, and 2 sisters Darlene and Jean, the youngest sister Rae Dean being born later. Growing up he helped on the family farm and graduated from High School in 1949. He served in the National Guard. He worked as a millwright in the construction industry thought out the U.S. and eventually settled in Dallas where he went into flooring business. He married Maxine McBride on December 15, 1957. Together they raised 6 children He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 Years, his parents, and his brother. He is survived by his children Eldon, Patty (Jack) Meager, Susan (Dale) Williams, Pennie (Jim) Gilbert, Curtis, and Eric. His has 19 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He is a lifelong member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully in various callings.
