Gerald Eugene Lloyd

Gerald Eugene Lloyd, loving husband, beloved father, friend, and world’s greatest Papaw went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 30, 2020. 

Preceded in death by his parents: Earl and Billie Lloyd and beloved son, Jason Lloyd. 

He was born March 11, 1952 in Dallas, TX to Earl and Billie Lloyd. 

He was known for many great things, like his huge right arm and undefeated arm wrestling career. His greatest accomplishment, however, was his family. Gerald was a family man dedicated to loving, protecting, and leading those he loved most. 

On August 23, 1974 he married Linda Evans Lloyd. Together, Gerald and Linda built a lasting love fully reflected through their family. They were married for 46 years and were blessed with four boys, Craig, Jeremy, Phillip, and the late Jason Lloyd. 

He is also survived by his five grandchildren Justin Lloyd, Alli Lloyd, Austin Lloyd, Grant Lloyd, and Ashlyn Lloyd. 

While we miss him and we grieve, we have hope in the fact that he is not dead, but alive in Christ Jesus. 

Join us as we celebrate the life Gerald lived with us and his new life with our Savior Saturday October 3, 2020. Visitation from 10:00 - 12:00 with service immediately following at First Baptist Heath.
