George Taylor Huffman, born on December 2, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at the age of 81. He was a beloved master electrician known for his dedication and expertise in the electrical field as well as one who worked tirelessly as a self-employed tradesman.
George is survived by his loving spouse, Carolyn Huffman; sons, Jason, Kevin, and Ben Huffman and wife Brandie; daughters, Georgia Jimenez and husband Junior, Jennifer Deering and husband Larry, and Lorie; grandchildren, Joshua, Hailey, Hilary, Chelsea, Cherie, Cameron, and Trevor; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Huffman and Delhi Shreves; son, Brian Huffman; grandchildren, Cameron Huffman, Uriah Howe, and Jacob Howe.
George cherished the time he spent with his family, particularly, in fishing and the memorable moments he shared with his grandchildren. For others, he will be remembered for his generous spirit, hard work ethic, and the love he showed to those he encountered. His warmth, humor, and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The funeral service for George Huffman will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. There will be a time of visitation prior to service beginning at 9:00 AM.
