George Haskell Herriage, III
April 24, 1976 - December 27, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of George Haskell Herriage, III, who left this world on December 27, 2024, at the age of 48.
Born on April 24, 1976, George was a man of deep love and immense complexity. He lived a life filled with challenges but also one marked by kindness, humor, and unwavering care for those he loved. Despite the struggles he faced, particularly with the disease of addiction, George's heart was always full of love, and he touched the lives of many with his warm spirit.
George is survived by his parents, Shirley Campanello Herriage and George Haskell Herriage, Jr.; his stepmother, Laura Herriage; his brothers, Tim Herriage and Jaymon Herriage; and his sister, Casie Campanello. He also leaves behind his five beloved children; three grandchildren, Lily, Luka and Liam, who were his greatest joy and legacy.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Pam Herriage, whom he now joins in eternal rest.
George was a loving father, a devoted brother, and a son who never stopped caring, even during his most difficult days. Those who knew him will remember his big heart, his unmistakable laugh, and the way he could light up a room with his presence.
Though his journey was not always easy, George's life serves as a reminder of the power of compassion and the importance of understanding. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
A celebration of George's life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. The family invites all who knew him to join in remembering the good times, the laughter, and the love he shared.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an organization focused on addiction recovery or other meaningful cause, to honor George's life and support others facing similar struggles.
Rest in peace, George. Your story, though complicated, is one of love, resilience, and the impact of a life lived with an open heart.
