George A. Gray,

English / Spanish George Albert Gray, Jr. was born November 8, 1932 in Abilene, Texas. He was the son of Dr. George A.Gray and Minnie L. Truss. While in high school, his parents discovered he had a genius I.Q.George graduated from Baylor University with a Physics and Mathematics major,as well as becoming an advanced student of Spanish, French and Russian. George served for the Armed Forces during the Korean War in radio/technical support. He married Rosa L. Arce in 1959, after they met at First Baptist Dallas. She is a native to Nicaragua where they resided several years during their marriage.They had a daughter, Mirna Deborah, born in Lawton Ok. in 1962.He was a father who was always sweet and understanding. Mr. Gray worked for GeoTech Industries and headed a group of scientists on a project for the U.S. Navy to create the most sensitive seismograph of that time.In his later years, he spent a great part of his time reading at the library and keeping up with new scientific events and knowledge. He was lovingly referred to by his family as the "walking encyclopedia".George spent most of his life searching for the answers of some of life's most difficult questions. Plagued by the addiction to cigarettes, advanced emphysema took his life. He is survived by his brother Jerry, his daughter Deborah and three grandchildren, Alicia, Cristina and David Michael. Mientras estaba en elcolegio secundario sus padres descubrieron que su hijo tena un alto coeficiente intelectual. George se gradu de la Universidad de Baylor con un diplomaen Fsica y Matem¡ticas, tambin luego aprendiespaol, francs y ruso.George sirvi para las Fuerzas Armadas durante la guerra con Corea en el ¡rea deServicio de Soporte Tcnico de radio. Se cas con Rosa L Arce en 1959, luego de conocerse en la Primera Iglesia Bautista de Dallas. Ella es nativa de Nicaragua donde luego vivieron varios anos durante su matrimonio. Juntos tuvieron una hija, Mirna Deborah, que naci en Lawton, Ok, en 1962. El fue un padre comprensivo y dulce. Mr. Gray trabaj para GeoTech Industries donde lider un grupo de cientficos en un proyecto de la Marina Americana para crear el sismgrafo m¡s sensitivo del momento. En los anos postreros el paso mucho tiempo leyendo en la biblioteca y mantenindose al da con los eventos cientficos y nuevos conocimientos. En su familia se lo llamaba cariosamente ?enciclopedia ambulante?. George pas gran parte de su vida buscando respuestas de algunas de las preguntas mas difciles de la vida. Sumado a su adiccin al cigarrillo un avanzado enfisema tomo su vida. Quedan de su sangre, su hermano Jerry, su hija Deborah y tres nietos, Alicia, Cristina y David Michael.
