Gene Curry

CURRY, Adger Eugene (Gene) of Rockwall, born March 2, 1950, passed away June 20, 2009. Preceded in death by his parents, Buddy & Elsie Curry.Survived by sons, Sean Curry & wife, Carmela of Renton, WA; Cody Curry & wife, Alicia of Dallas; daughter, Melody Curry of Mesquite; grandchildren, Hayden, Cambria; brother, Richard Curry & wife, Jeannette of Ennis; sister, Cathy Wallace & husband, Don of Rockwall; many nieces and nephews; childhood friend, Rick Sanders & wife Nita of Dallas. He was employed at Bordens Dairy for 17 years and at 15 years. received the Certificate of Appreciation as a direct result of him striving to be the best he can be. He helped our company gain the valued reputation we enjoy today. Co-workers and customers all said Gene was the friendliest, always had a smile or joke for you, honest and hardest working man they knew and felt truly blessed to have known him. Service will be 10:00AM Wednesday June 24, 2009 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
