Gary MOUNT, of Forney, TX, born June 10, 1939, unexpectedly passed away on April 16, 2005. Survived by wife, Trisha Mount of Forney, TX, and his daughters Shelley Mount and Kristy Kenna (John) of Akron, Ohio; Becky Scherler (John) of Rockwall, TX; son Tim Mount, Scottsburg, IN; step-children Shane Ross of Forney, TX. and Brandi Hyre (Jeff) of Heath, TX, father & step-mother,James & Trula Mount; sister, Sue Ann Rose (Robert) and step-father, Bill Dix, of Scottsburg, Indiana; along with grandchildren, Adam, Tatum, Garet and Grant Scherler, Mason and Taylor Kenna, Shannon and Krystal Mount, Chandler and Aniston Ross, Darion and Tristan Mellorn, Haleigh and Lane Hyre. He is also preceeded in death by his mother Mary Mount Dix. Gary was born and raised in Scottsburg, Indiana.He was very active in baseball and basketball in high school and received a scholarship to play in college.After college he taught high school basketball and baseball for two years.After several different job endeavors he found his love in selling printing equipment.With this job he was able to travel the world and meet very many different people.Gary never met a stranger and to know him was to love him. He enjoyed traveling and was very successful in life. He enjoyed entertaining his family, friends and business associates.He was never at a loss for words.Gary was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and was especially active with his beloved children and grandchildren in sports. For all who knew Gary, he was a generous and caring man who worked hard to provide a good life for his family. Even though he pushed his children to provide for themselves, he was always there to help. He was very active with friends and loved talking about old times. His humor, energy, and presence will be missed by his large family and many friends. Life will never be the same without him, for he was "our life".
