Gary Alan Cooper was born in Yokohama, Japan on January 20, 1955, and passed away on May 4, 2018 in Sunnyvale, Texas. He married his wife, Luz Bella (Leslie) in 1996 in civil court and in 1997 in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Manila, Philippines. Gary proudly served the Navy in 1974 as an Anti-Submarine Warfare Technician, working on magnetic, infrared, sonar equipment, transponders and radar and received an Honorable discharge. He was a very resourceful man that cared for his family first and foremost and was the best loving husband and father they could have. He was preceded in death by his father, James William Cooper. He was survived by his wife, Luz Bella Hernandez Cooper, his son, Jeremy Ray Cooper, his mother, Yoshiko Cooper, his younger brother, Jimmy Cooper, his younger sister, Karen Meyer, his uncle, Jack Cooper, Linda Baker, and his cousins Kim and Steve Richno as well as numerous other cousins and nephews.
