FRANK LEON MCGINNIS In Memoriam of Frank Leon McGinnis Born at Sandia Base Army Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 18, 1971. Son of Gerald Lee McGinnis and Evelyn Lorraine Birchall. Preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lee McGinnis who died September 28, 1979. Survived by mother, Lorraine Birchall & husband, Kenneth; sisters, Geraldine & husband, Paul Creager, Rosemary & husband, Randy Fuller. He was of Native American/Irish descent, his mother being a full-blood Isleta Indian and his father being Irish. As an adult, he resided in Dallas, Texas.During the earlier years of his life, he lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lubbock Texas and San Jose, California. Throughout his life, he had an extreme love for the sport of fishing.As an adult, he also developed an interest in hunting and a passion for cooking. As a child and even into adulthood, he enjoyed watching cartoons - always the kid at heart. He was also a young man with a big heart - friendly, kind and giving to everyone. In his early life, he attended various Pentecostal churches and more recently was attending church at Dayspring Pentecostal Church in Dallas, Texas. He also had the opportunity to care for his nieces and nephews and he was extremely proud of being a part of their lives. He is survived by: Two nieces: Cynthia Warner of San Jose, California Amber Fuller of Rowlett, Texas Four nephews Steven Warner of West Point, New York Michael Warner of San Jose, California John Creager of San Jose California Randy Fuller, Jr of Forney, Texas Service will be 1:00PM Tuesday February 13, 2007 at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends at the funeralhome Monday evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
