Frank Telles Herrera

Frank T. Herrera of Mesquite, TX passed away on August 5, 2015 surrounded by numerous loved ones. Frank was born on July 6, 1935 in Dallas, TX. He married the love of his life, Betty Alonzo Herrera, on September 14, 1957. They spent nearly 58 years together raising their ever expanding family. His love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren was visible to all who knew him. Frank owned his own business, F.H. Upholstery. He was passionate about producing fine quality work and spent his off time rooting for local sports teams. He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Julia T. Herrera; sister Josephine Cruz and Elvira Herrera; brother Louis Herrera Sr.; special nephew Louis Herrera Jr.; niece Joann Romero. He is survived by his wife; brothers Tom and Robert Herrera; sister Margaret Guevara (Henry); and 5 children; Grace L. Sifuentes; Frank A. Herrera (Bacilia); Jesse R. Herrera; Gabriel Herrera (Belinda); and Julia H. Padilla (Steve). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and loved by many nieces and nephews. Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 8/7/2015 at New Hope Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 8/8/2015 at St. Michaels Archangel Catholic Church in Garland, TX. Burial at Calvary Hill to follow.
