Francis Ellis Barr

Francis Ellis Barr ( Frank) was born on May 11, 1940 and passed away on June 10, 2016. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; Clyde Willie Barr and Cassie Harris, a son, Sammy Barr and three brothers:Kenneth, Merle and Alvin and one sister, Sue Stephens. Frank is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary F. (Medlin) Barr, 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, fourbrothers: J.R. Barr, Horace Stephens, Dale Stephens andJack Stephens, one sister, Margret Stephens and many nieces and nephews. Frank retired as a union iron worker after 25 years to start his own business which he named Frank's Mobile Sharpening. A visitation for Frank will be held on Saturday June 18, 2016 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas.Services will be held on Monday June 20, 2016 at 11:00AM at Tripp Road Baptist Church in Sunnyvale with interment to follow at Long Creek Cemetery.
