Frances M. Hooker (nee Coreno), 98, died Saturday afternoon, October 17, 2015 in Rowlett, Texas, with all of her family by her side. She was born on March 4, 1917, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Angelo and Carrie (nee DePhillips) Coreno of Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Frances graduated in 1934 from Charles F. Brush High School, Lyndhurst, Ohio, and initially worked as a beautician. During the late 1960’s she began working at Allstate as an office secretary, and remained with Allstate for several decades. She was married for over 42 years. The couple relocated to Dallas from North Ridgeville, Ohio in 1990. In addition to her daughter, Diane Smith (nee Beaumont) of Rowlett, TX, Frances is survived by her two granddaughters, Dr. Sheri L Klouda (Jarmusch) Rowlett, TX, and Cynthia L Moyer (Jarmusch), Forney, TX; five great grandchildren, Christopher Moyer, Rowlett, TX; Paul Moyer, Forney, TX;Michelle Pease (nee Moyer), Forney, TX; Jill York (nee Moyer), Forney, TX; Abigail Klouda, Rowlett TX; and 5 great- great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on October 21, 2015, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at New Hope Funeral Home, Sunnyvale, TX, followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm.Internment will be at the adjacent New Hope Cemetery after the memorial service.
