Frances Cooper

Frances I. Cooper of Mesquite Texas, was born on December 8, 1933 and passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ray W. Cooper, her mother, father, and nine siblings. Fran is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bro and Lynn Cooper; daughter Brenda Cooper; two grandsons - Braden and Shawn Cooper; four grandchildren and by her baby sister Betty Jo Bordan. Born in Searcy Arkansas, Fran moved to Texas at age 16.She worked for Texas Instruments and retired from AT&T in 1988.Frans hobbies were working in the yard with her flowers, fishing and camping with her family, singing praises to her Lord and hanging out with her sisters. Visitation is Saturday June 16, 2012 2 - 4 p.m. at the New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale (just outside of Mesquite) 500 U.S. East Highway 80, Sunnyvale, TX., 75182; 972/226-2111. Graveside service is Monday June 18, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the DFW National Cemetery . There will be no funeral procession from the funeral home. Those attending the internment are asked to be at the DFW National Cemetery by noon in Lane C.
