SIMMONS, Forest L. of Dallas, born November 26, 1944, passed away December 2, 2008. Preceded in death by parents, John & Hattie Simmons; brother, Richard Simmons; dauthter-in-law, Oma Simmons; grandson, Brian Robinson. Survived by wife of 40 years, Mary Simmons; sons, Don (Nancy) and Jim Simmons; grandchildren, Josh, Jonah & Luke; brothers, Pete (Kathy) and Larry ( Jackie) Simmons; sisters, Cathy York (Butch), Pat Evans (George), Linda Cox (Rickie); numerous, much lovednieces and nephews; special cousins, Wayne (Nancy) and Jim Gilcrease; brothers-in-law, A. J. (Barbara) and Billy Shanz and life long friend, Don Whitman. Service will be 10:00AM Saturday December 6, 2008 at the Rylie First Baptist Church, 11130 C.F. Hawn Frwy., Dallas, TX. 75217. Interment will be at Rylie Cemetery in Dallas, TX. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
