Evelyn Tapley

Our dearest Evelyn Jackson Tapley, age 92, left this world to be with her Lord Jesus on March 22, 2025. She was a sweet and caring person. She was the heart and soul of our family and will be so deeply missed.

Evelyn was a faithful servant of God and a loyal member of Galloway Avenue Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas.

She is survived by her youngest daughter, Lisa Tapley Patton; son-in-law, Michael Patton; four grandchildren, Dakota Patton, Laramie Patton, J.B. Bean, Codye Bean; and two great- grandchildren, Gracie and Gavin Bean.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Dink and Lucy Jackson; her oldest daughter, Karen Tapley Bean; her sisters, Dot McGee, Lucille Evans, Dixie Hill; and her brothers, Joe and Carl Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Evelyn Tapley to Galloway Avenue Baptist Church, 1930 N. Galloway Ave., Mesquite, TX 75149.
