Evelyn Regina Forwalter Moore was born in Chattanooga, TN on Monday, August 3, 1931 and went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the age of 88. She journeyed through this life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, “Memaw” and friend. At a young age Evelyn, along with her sister Bobbie and their mom came to Dallas, TX. While working at S.H. Kress drug store in downtown Dallas, she met “R.L.” He was in the U.S. Army, stationed in Colorado Springs, CO. Evelyn decided to travel to Colorado Springs where they were married. After the service, they settled in Dallas, TX and were blessed with three daughters. In her younger days, she made dresses for her daughters – ALL ALIKE! Evelyn loved to work in her flower beds and eventually went to work outside the home when Marilyn was in high school. She was a member of Landmark Family Fellowship and enjoyed her “Young at Heart” Sunday School class. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Bell Vallejo; sister, Bobbie Sue Rickman and husband, R.L. Moore.
