Evelyn Marie McSpedden

Evelyn Marie McSpedden Marie was a wonderful wife, mother, grand-mother and sister. Her family and friends identify her as one of the most loving and giving people they had ever met.Marie was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Garland where she demonstrated her love of Christ through helping people in need.She devoted her life to be a prominent business owner, a wonderful baker, and a “mom” to all of her beloved animals. Preceded in death by her father John Mathis, brother Hollis Elliot, sister Kathy Mathis, and daughter Robin Shaddix. She is survived by her husband, William McSpedden, of 28 years.She is also survived by her mother Agnes Tucker Mathis of Avery, TX. along with children Kenneth & Phyllis Shaddix of Texarkana, Ke & Vi Mai of Richardson, Julie Johnson of Montgomery, AL, andTerri&Daniel Edmonds of Montgomery, AL; Grandchildren Chris Shaddix, Cody Shaddix, Casey Shaddix, Ashley Mai, Kevin Mai, Joshua and Lindsay Edmonds, and Lydia and David Wolfe; 1 Great-Grandchild, Elijah Wolfe; Siblings, Wayne & Shirley Mathis of Whitesboro, TX, Donny Mathis and Mammie Harris of Avery, TX, David & Della Mathis of Forney, TX, and Jimmy & Alice Mathis of Marrietta, TX.Marie is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
