Evelyn Darlene Ellis

ELLIS, Evelyn Darlene of Seagoville, born November 16, 1957, was called home on October 11, 2011. An amazing woman and mother who up until her last day gave selflessly to her children and grandchildren. Although her life was too short and she lived everyday to the fullest; loving, laughing and just being Evelyn to her last day. We will love her and miss her each day but her spirit will live on in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Do not weep for her for we know she is in a better place and no longer suffering. Preceded in death by father, Buster Hamilton; mother, Jo Hamilton; sister, Glenda Doreen Hamilton; brothers, Mark Hamilton and Buster Ryan Hamilton;partner in crime, Alex Haines and numerous other loved ones. Survived by daughter, Andrea Kelley & husband, Heath of Edgewood; son, Andrew Russell Rickman, Jr. & wife, Amanda of Canton; daughter, Danielle Zapata & husband, Jose of Seagoville; grandchildren, Leahann Kelley, David Kelley, Constance Kelley, Gage Kelley, Andrew Russell Rickman III, Allison Rickman, Joseph Zapata; brothers, Robert Hamilton of Balch Springs, Joel Hamilton of Mesquite; sisters, April Byers of Kaufman, Peggy Walden of Tawakani; aunt, Willie Evans of Seagoville and numerous other family and friends. Service will be 2:00PM Saturday October 15, 2011 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
