ROBINSON, Mimi Etta Mildred of Mesquite, passed away peacefully on Friday morning October 8, at the age of 95 Mildred was a member of a pioneer family born to Durward & Lynn Moore Kent the oldest of three children. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Lynn Crane. Survived by brother, Durward Kent, Jr. & wife, Tensey; children & their spouses, Bob & Maurine Robinson and Paula & Don Newman. Additionally she is survived by six grandchildren, Robbie and Janice Robinson, Hyla and Skip Rice, Lyndi Robinson, Shannon and Brett Hammers, Kent and Darcy Newman, Robin and Terry Maher; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends and extended family members Mildred was a lifetime member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school classes for over 45 years. She was married to her husband, Robert Winston Robinson for 63 years, before his death on July 3, 1996. They were truly devoted to each other. Mildred Robinson will live in the hearts of her family and all those who knew and loved her. So to you, Mildred, better known as Mimi , you will be tremendously missed. Service will be 1:00PM Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church,1324 Pleasant Dr., Dallas, TX, with interment to follow at Pleasant Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday October 10, 2010 at New Hope Funeral Home from 5:00PM " 7:00PM. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Mound Cemetery, 3151 S. Buckner Blvd., Dallas, TX.
