On 02-16-2022 Etheline (Lynn) Jewell Quarles Schroff entered her heavenly home. Lynn was a resident of Mesquite, Texas where she raised her family.
Originally from Liberty, Missouri Lynn was born on 12-27-1939 to Arba Zora Quarles and Peggy Nelly Ross Quarles. She later married her love, William (Bill) Schroff. Together they traveled the world and raised their three girls.
Lynn lived a life of service and enjoyed any activity that brought smiles and laughter to those around her. On Friday nights you could find her hosting the weekly game of canasta or dominoes with friends. She spent her career in food service with the Mesquite Independent School District where she made many lifelong friends. During Lynn’s life she was also a girl scout leader for her daughters growing up. Later in life she loved to volunteer at the Yellow House, a community food bank.
Lynn will be missed by her family and friends. Those that precede her in death are husband William Schroff, son David Sanders, granddaughter Tammy Reibesell, and grandson Shawn Hefner.
She will be missed dearly by siblings Jenna Wilson, Robert Quarles (spouse Evie) and Beatrice Chaykin. Children Debbie Riebesell (spouse Larry), Donny Schroff (spouse Karen), Robin Hefner, Brenda Benfield, and Patti Barishefsky (spouse Jay). Her grandchildren Ricky Reibesell (spouse Becca),Traci Clark, Tiffany Sanders, Brandon Hefner (spouse Jessica), Sarah Kramer (spouse Mark), Meagan Hefner, Brittany Flinn (spouse Ricky), William Benfield, Carrie Benfield, and Joshua James. Her Granny-love will be missed in her many great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 6-8 pm at New Hope Funeral Home (500 E Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182).
Internment will be on Tuesday February 22 at 1pm at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119).
