Emma Dean Furr

FURR, Emma Dean a life long resident of Dallas, passed away December 15, 2008 in Mesquite, TX. Emma was born on March 20, 1924 in Cumby, Texas to Earnest Alford and Rosa Lee Bailey. She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. (Bill) Furr; her parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister. She is survived by 1 brother, Junior Bailey & wife, JoAnn of Mesquite; daughter, Jerry Winn & husband, Bonnie of Mesquite; 2 grandsons, Eddie McClanahan & wife, Robin of Royse City, TX., Russell Winn of Mesquite, TX; granddaughter, Deborah Rodden & husband, Tracy of Mesquite; also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members and a host of friends. She was a loving and devoted sister, mother, wife, grandmother and Nanny to all. Nanny we love you so much. Service will be 10:00AM Friday December 19, 2008 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM. Interment will be 1:00PM Friday at Cumby Cemetery, Cumby, TX.
