Emily Lou Biggs, born on May 13, 1933, in Cedar Park, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, in Garland, Texas, at the age of 91. She was a devoted wife known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her warm and loving spirit. Emily touched the lives of many through her remarkable baking skills, a passion that brought joy to family gatherings and celebrations.
An active member of the Church of Christ, Emily found strength and community in her faith, which enriched her life and the lives of those around her. She shared her love for our Lord and Savior as the loving wife of Forest Biggs and shared their love for ministry.Her love for adventure also shone through in her enthusiasm for flying, a hobby that she cherished and shared with her loved ones. Emily will be remembered for her compassion, her laughter, and her nurturing personality.
Emily is survived by her three children: daughter Carolyn Johnson and husband John, son Kenneth Kelso and wife Brenda, and daughter Sharlette Callahan; as well as her grandchildren Erick Marshall and Jenn, Phillip Bee and wife Codi, Jamie Espino and husband Joe, Chuck Slovak, Dylan Callahan, and Jason Kelso. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Amya Bee-Gray and husband Isaak, Andi Bee, Adler Bee, Britney Ballard and husband Josh, Emily Easley, Jordan Easley, Tailor Marshall, Makyla Marshall, Daxx Marshall, and Kaylam Rodriquez. Emily was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family. "Nonny" will be soarly missed by her precious Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren whom she loved deeply.
A graveside service lead by Tyler Bush, Minister, Centerville Church of Christ, will be held in Emily's honor at Cedar Park Cemetery, Bell Blvd and Hwy 183, Cedar Park,Tx on January 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable life and everlasting legacy.
Emily was preceded in death by: Her Husband, Forest "Dick" Biggs,
Father, William Moore, Mother, Lennie Jackson Moore, Brother, Billy Moore and Sister, Norma Moore Law.
