Elizabeth Maxine Lamb

LAMB, Elizabeth Maxine (Liz) Yates of Mesquite, born January 22, 1925, passed away October 13, 2011. She loved the Lord and she was always Happy, fun and an eternal optimist. "Mama Liz" will be missed. Preceded in death by parents, Jack & Sue Yates and sister, Beatrice of Gladewater, Tx. Survived by sons, Scott Lamb & wife, Donna, of Mesquite, TX, Bryan Lamb & wife, Linda of Allen, TX; 7grandchildren, Dillon Lamb & wife, Wendy,Joshua Fritsche,Andrea Wood & husband, Travis, Jamie Dudek & husband, Andrew, Robert Lamb, Daniel Lamb, Connor Lamb; nephews, Steve Yates & wife, Sybil of Plano, Herbert Hays, Jr. & wife, Lorie of Allen, TX.; 5 great grandchildren, Paige, Eli and Jacob Wood, Jane and Alexis Fritsche; cousins, Lester Thompson of Carrollton, TX, Dixie Harter of Ardmore, OK,, Jennifer and Sara Hays of Allen, TX. and their daughters, Dally and Kiana. Service will be 1:00PM Tuesday October 18, 2011 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 3300 LaPrada Drive, Mesquite, TX. 75150. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Interment will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens, Sunnyvale, TX. n lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Calvary Hill Baptist Church.
