Edward Gray Sebastian, Jr. (“Mr. Ed”), was born on December 22, 1932, in Blue Ridge, Texas to Edward Gray Sebastian, Sr. and Lema Sandlin Sebastian. Mr. Ed went to be with our Lord, on July 25, 2018, in his home in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Sebastian is preceded in death by his daughter Vicki Sebastian, granddaughters Casi and Staci Huckabay, father Edward Gray Sebastian, Sr., mother and dad Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Cannon, brothers Donald E. Sebastian and Billy Wayne Sebastian and sister Patricia Ann Brown. He is survived by son Ray Sebastian, daughter Cindy Huckabay and sons in law Bruce Lee and Neal Harsch, five (5) grandchildren, Robert Lucas, Traci Allen, Anesia Nelms, Andy Huckabay and Stephanie Sebastian; nine (9) great grandchildren, Jay, Justin, Braxton, Kiya, Haley, Jase, Case, Taylor and Kaitlyn, one great, great granddaughter Remington. Mr. Sebastian volunteered for the U.S. Marine Corp. on his 18th birthday.After, honorably serving his country in Korea, he returned to the U.S. and began employment at the Ford Assembly Plant in Dallas, which he followed with a 9-year career as a Dallas Police Officer.He completed his formal working career as a driver of 18-wheeler trucks for 20 years.For retirement, he mowed and kept up some 30 different lawns. He was loud and had a great laugh.He never met a stranger. He was ALWAYS first at the buffet line.He loved gardening, playing cards and dominoes.
