Edward "Doc" Couch

Edward "Doc" Paxton Couch born December 21, 1924 in Maud, Texas to Bruce and Nora Couch, passed away on August 15, 2009. He was preceded in death by is father, Walter Bruce Couch and his mother Nora May Brady Couch and also brother, Walter Brady Couch; daughter, Sharon Couch Sanchez. Edward is survived by his spouse Carrie Couch and his daughter Tammy Murphy. Also survived by grandchildren Clint Rylant, Kelly Newton, Elizabeth Jordan; great grandchildren, Robby Rylant, Lura Rylant, Tara Rylant, Samantha Rylant, Kimberly Newton, Tyler Jordan, Justin Jordan, Jessie Newton; step great grandchildren, Sean Zephrow and Mika Zephrow; sisters Jewel Davis and Madge Howell and one great great granddaughter, Isabelle Rylant. Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. Service will Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning, August 22, 2009 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
