BARRETT, JR.,Edward Leon of Rowlett, born February 14, 1940, passed away October 15, 2007. He was born in Elk City, OK.Graduated from Southwestern University with Bachelors in Economics and Psychology. He was a high school and junior college teacher in Dodge City.General Motors Training Center Manager for 30 years.PGR Assistant State Captain.Hobbies include motorcycling and camping, Nascar enthusiast and loved his whole family dearly. Preceded in death by parents, Edward Leon Barrett, Sr., & Genevieve Josephine Toelle Barrett. Survived by wife of 47 years, Rose Mary Barrett; daughters, Kim Tassone, Linda Roberts & Mary Pierce; brothers, Randy & George Barrett; sisters, Yvonne Stearns, Shirley Whisman and Carolyn Snyder. Service will be 3:30PM Wednesday October 17, 2007 at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon from 1:00PM to 3:30PM. Interment will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery, Alva, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United States Welcome Home Foundation, 906 W.
