Edna Melcher

COMPTON-MELCHER, Edna of Mesquite, born April 9, 1910, passed away September 4, 2009. Prior to losing her sight, she was passionate about making and sending ceramic coffee mugs for all branches of the armed services, and earned the name of mug lady Preceded in death by husband, William L. Melcher. Survived by children, Ann Martinez, Jayne Kysar, Peggy Rene, Bill Melcher; grandchildren, Jimmy Kraft, Toni King, Mickey Kraft, Gretchen Partney, Tracee Larson, Jamie Travis, Wendee Doty, Brian Sanderford, Stacy Lusk, Brett Martinez; many great grandchildren; faithful dog, Wally. Service will be 2:00PM Wednesday September 9, 2009 at New Hope Funeral Home with visitation starting at 1:00PM before the service.
