Edith Alylene Hegar

Edith Alylene Nichols Hegar of Forney, was born June 18, 1929 in Scott county Arkansas. Alylene received her Bachelor's Degree from Texas Technological University, Lubbock, Texas; Master's and Doctorate from University of North Texas, Denton, Texas.She was a long-term employee of the Dallas County Community College District having served as Counselor and Professor of Psychology.She was licensed as a Psychologist by the State of Texas. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Roy and Virgie Nichols.She is survived by her husband John Hegar.Also survived by Children, Michael Hegar and Eva Steele; Grandchildren: Brittany Hegar, Colton Sanders, and Mason Hegar; Brother, Ralph Nichols and wife Sharon; Sister, Eva Jo Phillips and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Service will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Forney, Texas.
