Earnest Eugene Pruitt

Earnest Eugene Pruitt was born August 29, 1941 in Dallas to Odell and Christine Pruitt.He passed away on February 2, 2009. He was preceded in death by his son Richard Pruitt, his mother Christine Tillison and his dad Odell Pruitt, and step-dad Sidney Tillison and brother, Jack Pruitt. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna Pruitt.Also survived by daughter, Carol Parker and husband Clifford Allen of Gainsville, Texas; son, Earnest Eugene Pruitt, Jr. of Kemp Texas; son, Charles Pruitt and Bobbie Pruitt of Scurry, Texas; son, Jimmy Canada Jimbo and wife Dena of Edgewood, Texas; son, Woodrow Woody Canada and Susan of Dallas, Texas; son, Donald Donnie Canada and wife Tila of Combine, Texas; daughter, Tina Marion of Garland, Texas; daughter, Katrina Calhoun and husband Buddy of Dallas, Texas, and 28 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.Survived by brother, Lewis Pruitt and wife Barbara of Mabank, Texas; sister, Mary Jackson and husband George of Ben Wheeler, Texas and many nieces and nephews. Earnest only looked for the good in people.He always was willing to help in any way he could. I believe he is the most giving and truthful person Ive ever met in my life.I love him dearly, he is my heart. Donna Services will be on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
