Earline Martin

Earline Martin, born to the late William Earl and Ruby Virginia Barry on October 21, 1934 in Trenton, Texas. Preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Survived by the love of her life, Phillip Douglas Martin, loving husband of 54 years, having resided in the city of Lone Oak, Texas for 18 years.Earline rejoiced in re-uniting with their son, Paul Douglas Martin, who preceded her in death on August 14, 1966. She gently went into the arms of our Lord and Savior as she passed away at home on Friday, August 4, 2006. Left to cherish her memory are : sister, Pauline Davis of Liberty City, Texas; two daughters and their spouses, Deborah Renee and Sonny Lewis of Lone Oak, Texas and Laura Lee and Steve McDowra of Midlothian, Texas; three grandsons, Darryl Lewis, Aaron McDowra, and Paul Lewis; two granddaughters, Trulee Montgomery and Mallory McDowra, two great grandchildren; along with numerous family members and friends. Earline cherished the love and friendship of those closest to her and took great pride in family including many nieces and nephews whom she loved so dearly. A celebration of her life will be Monday, August 7, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Highway 80, Sunnyvale, Texas. Burial immediately following at Laurel Land Cemetery in Oak Cliff. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
