Dwight Marie Hudler, aged 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 1st.
Born on May 20, 1931, Dwight lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family and community.
Dwight grew up in a town where she cultivated a deep sense of compassion and kindness that she carried throughout her life. On June 16, 1952, she married the love of her life, Marvin Hudler. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared a loving marriage for over 69 years. Their union was blessed with four wonderful children: Dwight, Rebecca Ann, Victor, and James, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dwight's home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and all the good stories. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, nurturing a legacy of love and unity that will endure.
Dwight was also dedicated to sharing the love of the Lord, where she joyfully taught Sunday school for many years, and sang in the church choir. Her passion for teaching and her unwavering faith inspired countless young minds, leaving a lasting impact on her community.
Throughout her life, Dwight was known for her generous spirit, her infectious smile, and her ability to find beauty in everyday moments. Her kindness touched the lives of everyone she met, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin Hudler, and sons Victor Hudler, James Hudler and grandson James Hudler II. As well as her parents, one sister and one brother.
She is survived by her son Dwight Eugene, daughter Rebecca Butters and sister Linda McComas. As well as her daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends who were blessed to have known her.
A celebration of Dwight's life will be held on Saturday February 8th at New Hope Funeral Home, located at 500 US Highway 80 E Sunnyvale, TX 75182. The viewing will begin at 9 followed by the funeral at 10.
Dwight Marie Hudler will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
