MCWHIRTER, Douglas Brett of Dallas, born January 30, 1970, passed away June 12, 2011. Lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by grandmother,Kathryn Mary McWhirter; grandfather, Daniel B. McWhirter, II; grandmother, Loraine Barber; grandfather, Wallace Barber. Survived by father, Daniel Bascom McWhirter, III; mother, Edith Marie Norris; step-father, Fred Norris; brother, Darren McWhirter; sisters, Kathy Pena, Talitha Malone, Carla Thurman; his pets, Lucy & Allie. Service will be 10:00AM Thursday June 16, 2011 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
