HENDRIX, Douglas Wylie of Mesquite, born February 14, 1934, passed away November 23, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Wylie & Marie Hendrix; siblings, Stevie Don Hendrix and Helen Hendrix Shaw. Survived by wife, Geraldine Hendrix; children, Cindy Kirkpatrick & husband, Gregg,Debbie Hallam & husband, Doug; grandchildren, Jennifer Holdt & husband, Brian, Joshua Kirkpatrick, Travis Hallam and Chase Hallam; great grandson, Kevin Holdt; brother, Malcolm Hendrix; numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Service will be 1:00PM Saturday November 26, 2011 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6PM " 8PM.
