Dorothy Ann (Meyer) Neece, born July 19, 1940, passed from a long battle with cancer on 24 October 2011. Dorothy was born and raised in Sterling City California. She attended Paradise High School and after graduation earned her degree in Cosmetology. Dorothy (Dot) was an amazing mother, wife, woman and friend who up until her last day gave selflessly to her children and grandchildren. Although her life was too short; she lived everyday to the fullest, loving, laughing and just being Dorothy to her last day. She taught everyone she knew how to be strong and to love. We will love her and miss her each day but her spirit will live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren and to all that knew her. She would not want us to weep for her, because she was always the type of person that rose above all things that came into her path. She wanted everyone to do the same. She always looked to the positive and encouraged everyone to do the same. So please do not weep for she is in a better place and no longer suffering. We will all miss her each and every day. Dorothy was preceded in death by both parents William and Fern Meyer and husband Dwight L. Neece of 52 years along with two brother and three sisters. Survived by; daughter Troylee Warren and husband Glenn of Mesquite Texas, son Timothy Neece and wife Deanie of Lone Oak, Texas and Todd Neece of Oklahoma City Oklahoma, Brother Donald Meyer of Sterling City California, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
