To My Family Let's smell the flowers, it won't be long Don't cry for me, I'm just going home I'll ask God to answer your prayers When you get ready, I'll be waiting there With all the folks Who've gone on before, Oh the joy we'll share When we welcome so many more! I'm alright you see, so don't shed any tears The pains have all eased, the first time in years. There's Mom and Dad, Sisters and Brothers too So when you get ready We'll be waiting for you. When you feel blue, and want to cry, Just think of me, up there on high No more worries, no pain to bear Always with my God, and Jesus is near. I'll talk to them and cry and sing I'll wait for you, and with my wings I'll watch over you all down there When it's your time to come....I'll be waiting here by Dorothy Davis My Hill "There is no God" this man said I took my bible and there I read, Of God's promises tried and true. "Oh Lord forgive him for doubting you" I look across to a perfect hill, At every season you can see God still. At spring I see new flowers that bloom, New grass that somehow find enough room. To grow and cushion a baby's walk, Then birds to sing to a baby's talk. Where were they and how did they know, Where to come when there is no snow. Then summer comes a lazy time, Just lay and enjoy it all yours and mine, Then autumn comes with it's paint brush, Gold and red all changes with a rush, Before winter comes with it's quiet time Leaves start falling then snow all along the line. So sir I can say to you still, If you believe there is no God, Come and look at my hill. by Dorothy Davis
