Mom was the heart and soul of our family. She was Daddy's true helpmate and they had 56 great years before Daddy went to his heavenly home 5 years ago. They loved traveling and visiting with family and friends. Our mom loved to sew, do needlepoint, crochet, and was an avid reader. She loved being with her sisters and brothers. Her favorite time of year was in the summer when the whole family would get together at the annual family reunion. She taught school for 30 years, most of thoseat Tosch Elementary School in Mesquite. She taught and coached many of her sisters. She was also the Children's Director at Shiloh TerraceBaptist Church in Dallas for many years. She was proud of her children and grandchildren. She would always be there with a helping hand. Mom loved going to all the athletic events that the grandchildren participated in. It brought her great joy. We loved our mom so much. She lived a blessed life and lived it to the fullest. She will forever be in our hearts and we will miss her. Our hearts are at peace knowing that she is resting in the arms of Jesus.
