Donnell Ferguson

Donnell Ferguson passed away on July 11, 2021 at the age of 65. After battling long and hard with heart failure, Donnell died with his loving wife Cora and children by his side. 

Donnell was born on October 19, 1955 to father Robert Taylor Ferguson and mother Opal Cummings. Due to the early passing of his mother and father, Donnell cherished any family that he had and worked hard every day to provide for them. His strong work ethic and desire to care for his family led him to enlist in the Navy and rise to the rank of E6 during 1977-1995.

While stationed in the Philippines he met and married his wife Corazon Brindez. They married in 1978. He went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Technical Management. He worked through rain, sleet and snow for the United States Postal Service for over 15+ years.  

Donnell was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Marie Loise Rosberry and Dorothy Faye Ferguson; brother Bobby Ferguson, daughter Sheila Ferguson and grandson Jaquan Johnson. He is survived by his wife Corazon Brindez Ferguson; aunt Lizzie Ferguson; sister Lezella Dews; daughter Sheba Johnson; son Sheauntei Ferguson and daughter in law Ashley; his precious grandchildren Kayla Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Camille Ferguson, and niece Saran Dews and Thresheila.
