Donna Patrice Strong

Donna Patrice Strong was born to J.C. and Gloria Jackson on June 16, 1960 in Dallas, Texas, passed away on November 25, 2008. Preceded in death by her mother Gloria Jackson. Survived by her husband, Kevin Strong. Also survived by her father, J. C. Jackson; and her sons, Jay Embry, age 27 and Shaun Strong, age 28, and grandchildren: Austen McCoy age 12, Alissa McCoy age 11, Dillon Strong age 7, and Kaitlynn Strong age 4; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in Dallas and East Texas. She married Kevin Charles Strong on November 8, 1988. Donna was a loving person. She had been a Competition Baton Twirler since early childhood, and she worked in the medical field; from psychiatric to cardiothoracic surgery practices. Donna received her CRMA Certified Registered Medical Assistance in 2000. Donna suffered terribly from degenerative bone and disc disease that was progressing rapidly over the years, not to mention a type of benign brain stem tumor that could have taken her at any time. She survived several back sugeries and pain management regiments to make day to day living normal, yet she was taken from us too soon. Donna, I love you and miss you , your HB Bear. Service will be 10:00AM Saturday November 29, 2008 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00PM " 7:00PM.
