Don Toburen

Dr. Don Toburen, PHD Don Lee Toburen, PHD, age77, of Terrell, TX, was born on November 9, 1938 to Glenn and Elsa Toburen in Newton, KS. Survived by his wife Dana, son Kyle and wife Kim, daughter Kara, granddaughters Rachel and Grasyn, grandson Trey, and sister Kathy. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Dean, and daughter Vanessa. Don married Dana Johnson in 1960 and began a full life as a teacher, instructor, professor, and Dean of English and Humanities at two Community Colleges.He was an attentive and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.He loved living and being active in Colorado and Texas after he retired in 1999.We will miss his wonderful sense of humor and quick wit.
