Donnie Hibbler was born on February 3, 1948 in Dallas, Texas.He passed away on November 28, 2014, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas at the age of 66. Donnie graduated from W.H. Adamson High School and went on to attend Tyler Junior College. Donnie was employed with Ben E. Keith Beverages for 32 ½ years until retiring on June 30, 2010.He was well known and respected in the beer industry and took the utmost pride in his customers and his career. In 1994 Donnie and Lana met and fell in love. On June 29, 1996, Donnie married the love of his life. They just celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. They loved to travel to many places in the United States and the Caribbean together. Donnie had a passion for hunting and he never turned down an opportunity to sit many countless hours in his deer blind watching the beautiful sunrises, sunsets and searching for that perfect 10pt. Donnie is survived by his wife, Lana Hibbler, of Forney, Texas, his daughter, Sommer Hibbler of Garland, Texas, his daughter, Dawn Hall, of Fort Worth, Texas, his step-daughter, Melissa Mancini of Slidell, Louisiana and his step-son, Adam Gaston, of Richardson, Texas. He also left behind his sister, Cisye Ruff and his grandchildren Tyler and Lauren Little, Braden, Spencer and Royce Mancini, many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Felix. He was predeceased in death by his father, George Hibbler, his mother, Grace Hamm, his step father, Edgar Hamm and his brother George “Sonny” Hibbler.
