BLACK, Donald R., 63, of Sunnyvale, loving father and attorney died April 3, 2003 at home with family and friends after a short battle with leukemia. Don was born September 24, 1939 in Colorado City, TX. to Carlton Black & Opal Priddy Black. He was a graduate of Colorado City High School, Abilene Christian College, and The University of Texas Law School.He practiced law in Dallas for almost 40 years and was a professor at Amberton University for 20 years. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and worshiped at Highland Oaks Church of Christ. Survived by daughters, Kerri Lunsford & husband, Will of Graham and Donna Thompson and husband, Lee of Southlake; grandchildren, Davis, Peyton & Sarah Lunsford and Taylor, Case & Emma Thompson; brother, Charles Black of Post; uncle, Edward Priddy of Odessa. He will be greatly missed by the members of his family and his many friends. Services will be 3:00PM Saturday, April 5, 2003, at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ, 10805 Kingsley Rd., Dallas, with Douglas Warner officiating.Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunnyvale, TX.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:30PM - 8:30PM.
