Don Wendell Bentley of Mesquite, Texas passed away on February 3, 2018 at the age of 74, surrounded by his loved ones, following a battle with cancer.He was bornin Hon, Arkansas on May 3, 1943 to Bethel and Oles Chronister Bentley.He was raised in Heavener, Oklahoma.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dianna Bentley; children, Daulton and wife, Tamara, Damon and wife Christy and Deirdre Durant and husband, Marty, grandkids, Wayne and wife, April, Wesley and wife, Ellen, Ashley and husband Jared, Wade and wife, Sara, Morgan and husband Cody, Jamie and husband, Abe, Derek, Emilie and husband, Chase, Alyssa and Cody; great-grandkids, Macey, Dakota, Tyler, Kyleigh, Lynleigh, Hunter, Emma, Jamison, Cora, Hudson, Jeffery and Halea; brothers, Kenneth and wife, Carolyn, Benny and wife, Nancy, sisters Sue Carty and husband Jim, LindaLockhart and husband Carl, and Jan Osbourn and husband Roger and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Tommy Bentley and Ronald Bentley.He loved God and was a faithful member of the Mesquite Church of Christ for more than 40 years.His celebration of life will be at the Mesquite Church of Christ in Mesquite, Texas on Saturday February 10, 2018.Visitation will be at 1:00PM followed by a service at 2:00PM.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cancer Care at cancercareservices.org.
