Don Ashmore Oct 15, 1938 - Mar 12, 2020 Don Ashmore age 81 of Forney, TX passed away March 12,2020, at his home. He was born on October 15, 1938 to Idis & Haynie Ashmore in Gumlog,AR Don graduated from Diehlstadt High School as the Salutatorian for graduating Class of 1956 in Diehlstadt,MO Don Married the love of his life Nancy Blackburn in November of 1959 Don worked at TXDOT and retired in 2002 after 30 years. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Dallas. Don is preceded in death by his parents: Idis and Haynie Ashmore; daughter, Sandra Carol Ashmore and grandson, Micheal Damien Ashmore. Don is survived by his wife of 60 years Nancy; children: Kevin and his wife Sarah Ashmore of Campbell, Texas & Scott Ashmore of Forney, Texas; grandchildren: Amber Dorton, Topher Vent, Josh and his wife Amy Vent, Breanna Ashmore, Emily Ashmore, Thomas Stinson, Heather Banks, Randy and his wife Joseann Soule, Jacob and his wife Paige Soule, Timothy Soule; great grandchildren: Natalie Holman, Laura Holman, Dakota Vent, Cayden Saffel, Cort Ray, Chaysli Ray, Thomas Soule, Wyatt Soule, Cassidy Soule; brother, Dwayne and his wife Sue Ashmore of Mesquite, Texas along with many nephews & nieces . And Brenda Collins ( a very loved and special friend of the family.)
