EDWARDS, Diann of Kemp, born December 29, 1946 in Vernon, TX., passed away August 26, 2006. She moved to Kemp to be near her children and grandchildren.Diann was a member of Central Baptist Church of Mabank and her greatest joy in life was the love for our Lord, her family and grandchildren.She earned the title of "World's Greatest Meme", hands down. Preceded in death by father, James Hicks; sister, Wanda Riley. Survived by husband, Raymond Edwards; mother, Lois Hicks of Archer City; children, Cassandra Cherry of Houston, Anthony Cherry of Kemp, Tracy McDaniel of Kaufman, Teri Cherry of Malakoff, Patrick Edwards of Houston; grandchildren, Christina Cherry, Chris Cherry, Katherine Cherry, Justin Poole, Preston Cherry, Cheryl McDaniel of Kaufman, Austin McDaniel of Wichita Falls, Ashley McDaniel of Kaufman; great great grandchildren, Caden Barron of Kaufman; brothers, Travis Hicks of Houston, Roger Dale Hicks of Archer City. Service will be 11:30AM Wednesday August 30, 2006 at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Hensley officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning at 10:00AM prior to service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Diann's name to the New Hope Funeral Home.
