Derek Paul Trammell was born June 6, 1980, in Dallas Texas. He lived in far northwest Dallas on Park Lane.
Derek attended Herbert Marcus Elementary School and Longfellow Middle School. He graduated from W T White high school and later from Texas Tech University. He possessed a high work ethic.
After graduating Derek went to South Korea to teach students how to speak English. Later he traveled the U.S. working for "Day out with Thomas" (HIT) (Thomas the Train). He was currently employed as an insurance claims adjuster at Sedgwick Claims Management, where he worked from home.
Derek lived alone with his beloved dog Bubba. He loved animals.
He was a very neat and orderly person. Everything had its place, and his home was always clean. He enjoyed collecting music, hunting, cooking and staying physically fit. He made it a point to be up to date on current world, local and national news. He was a staunch Republican and was politically outspoken concerning his beliefs. He loved our current president Donald J. Trump.
He was highly opinionated. He was not shy when it came to expressing his thoughts and ideas. Although he could be harsh at times, he possessed a heart of gold and would help out his family and friends when the need arose. He did believe in "tuff love". Derek was a gregarious person with the ability to make and keep friends. He had friends from all across the country. He was also a private person and held his religious beliefs close to himself.
Surviving are his parents: Leonard Trammell (Emory Texas) and Linda Trammell (Houston Texas) and most special, stepmom Beverly J Trammell (Emory Texas; siblings: Kelley Trammell, Lindsay Trammell, and Rodney Trammell.
