Dee Anne Felty

Dee Schindler was born to Frank and Sandy Schindler on May 25,1969 in Thornton, Colorado. She left this earth on February 10, 2021 unexpectedly in the comfort of her home in Greenville, TX to join her Savior Lord Jesus and her family already in His glory.

Dee is survived by her loving wife of 13 years, Jennifer James, children; son Andy Felty and his wife Lindsay, daughter Noel Felty and her daughter Lyla, daughter Amie Felty Burgess and her husband, Lonnie Burgess. She is also survived by her parents, Frank and Sandy Schindler, brother, Dan Schindler and his wife Debra Schindler and their children; Briana McKnight, Alyssa Schindler and Lexi Schindler.Dee’s sister, Chris Eberly and husband Bill Eberly and their son Tristen Eberly. Her Uncle Fred Schindler, Cousins Sheryl Burdine, Paul Schindler, Karen Touchet, Judy Herron, Mike Barr and their children.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Walt and Judy Schindler  as well as Myrtle and Kenneth McCarty, Uncles; Tommy McCarty, Daryl McCarty and Leslie Schindler, Aunts; Janet Barr and Carol Hoover and her Cousins; Gene Barr and Debbie Stinson. Her granddaughter Catherine Margaret Elizabeth Burgess, taken too soon from the family one day prior to Dee’s passing on February 9th 2021, went with her into the arms of Jesus.

In the wake of her death, her family is eternally grateful to all who loved her, called her a friend and honored her nurturing spirit by returning her love.  Dee’s greatest joy in life came from serving and caring for anyone that the Lord put in her path. She loved God and her family with all of her heart and soul. We will not say good-bye, only see you later in the presence of King Jesus.

Respects can be paid during her viewing and funeral service at New Hope Funeral Home at 500 US Highway 80 E, Sunnyvale, TX on Tuesday, February 16 starting at 1 pm.
