Debi Meck

July 4, 1960 — May 4, 2020

Debi was a spunky, energetic, free spirited soul. She was a fun, loving mimi, mom, daughter, niece, sister, and cousin. She loved spending quality time with her friends and family more than anything. Especially with her granddaughters. She always said the day she became a Mimi was the day her life was complete. When she wasn’t spending time with family you know she was having in depth conversations with her furry daughter Bonnie. I’m completely convinced they could understand one another. Her love for the water was undeniable. Any chance she could get she'd be on the lake or even better the ocean. She always claimed since she was a cancer, that made her a water sign and her spirit animal was a crab. She would collect sea shells any chance she got and always asked anyone to bring them back for her if she found out they were heading for the sea. If you were ever in her home you know what I mean. She will be deeply missed by everyone. Debi is survived by her mother Jaqueline P. Jeffrey, aunt Dewanna R. Strode, cousin Eric Brown brothers Victor Potter and Donald Potter, daughter Amber Nicholson and favorite son in law Gary Nicholson, extended daughters Misty Hulet and Jeanette Alvaez, granddaughter’s Emaly and Lilly Nicholson. Respects can be paid during her memorial service at 500 US-80 Sunnyvale, TX 75182 New Hope Funeral Home in on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m.
