David Wayne Wilson, 58, of Forney, Texas peacefully passed away on Friday, May 3rd, 2019 @ 3pm. He was surrounded by family and the loving medical staff at UTSW hospital. David was a larger than life kind of guy. His adventurous nature took him nationwide on a Harley, up in the air with his family and friends, and up/Down mountains in 18 wheelers. He fiercely loved his wife Connie, daughters Ashley and Jenna and his grandchildren. David never met a stranger and within minutes made a new friend. David received a bilateral lung transplant on June 2015. In the years following, David rediscovered his love for fishing and his fish stories were ALL TRUE! David was born on March 13th, 1961 in McKinney, Texas to Lloyd and Dorothy Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd, mother Dorothy, and his best friend/labradoodle ACE 'Charlie Flyin' High' Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Connie Wilson, daughters Ashley Wood and Jenna Hill, son-in-laws John Wood and Derek Hill, grandchildren Thomas and Annalyn Bland, brother Rick Wilson, sister in love Sandra Wilson, sister Vicki Wilson, sister Doris Ard, father in law James Gavin, brother and sister in law Thomas & Lisa Griffin, nephews and nieces Philip & Veronica Wilson, Jessica & Alan Crawford, Courtney McAda, Cody McAda, Stacy Beard, Lloyd Brooks and John Griffin as well as numerous great-nephews and nieces. He is also survived by life-long friends that were counted as family and his loyal dogs Jaxon, Major, and Molly Mae Chica.
